The Tom Homann San Diego LGBT Law Association is providing a free seminar on "Service Animals and Doggie Divorce."

The presentation will be on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at The Center in Hillcrest (Library Room) located at3909 Centre St, San Diego, CA 92103. Check-in will start at 5:45PM, with the program commencing at 6 PM. The one hour program will discuss what it takes to have a pet designated as a service or emotional support animal and when can businesses exclude animals from their premises. Pet custody after a divorce will also be covered. Non-attorneys are invited to attend and attorneys will receive one hour general CLE.

LGBT Community Center

The San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center, Inc., (d.b.a., The Center) is the nation's second oldest and third largest LGBT community center. Functioning as the LGBT community's anchor organization, The Center is led by a 20-member board of directors, employs over 40 paid staff and utilizes more than 800 community volunteers to achieve its twin goals of promoting LGBT health and human rights. The Center provides direct program services to the many different facets of the LGBT community, including men, women, youth, seniors, families, LGBT Latino community members and their families, and those struggling with HIV. Last year The Center provided more than 50,000 direct service visits to San Diego community members, and through its events, activities and advocacy, touched the lives of thousands more.
