21st Annual SDCCU Festival of Arts in North Park

A local North Park tradition, the event is a free art and live music festival with live street art demonstrations, eight music stages, local food, creative vendors and afternoon and evening craft beer block sessions.

The festival features a live art element by Visual: contemporary urban artists will create unique works of art using creative everyday objects like cars, refrigerators and boom boxes. Attendees will be awe-struck by the creativity of these talented artists.

Attendees 21 and over are encouraged to come thirsty to partake in the Waypoint Craft Beer Block for unlimited tasters from a selection of over 30 local craft brewers, several of which are ranked as the best new breweries in San Diego! There will be two separate craft beer block sessions to get H O P P Y at – choose from 12PM-4PM or 5pm-9PM. For the musically inclined, you can come show your talent at the craft beer block Karaoke stage.

From indie rock to blues, funk, DJ, dance and rock and roll; this event has it all. Various stages will be programmed for 12 hours and give music lovers a day and night of free entertainment not to be missed.

Come and enjoy your favorite cocktail at the West Coast Cocktail Garden located on University and Herman St. You can watch the artists at work on the Live Art Block which listening to music and sipping on your favorite beverage. Must be 21 to enter. Hours of operation noon-9:30pm. Cocktails are provided for purchase by Cutwater Spirits.

North Park Main Street and The Studio Door are partnering together to celebrate local artists at this year’s celebrated street fair with a juried art exhibition. Enjoy art on mixed mediums and receptions with the creators themselves. 

There will be something for everyone, including the kids. There will also be a hands-on Kids Art Block, providing kids a great opportunity to participate in interactive activities designed to stimulate, inspire their imaginations and create their own masterpieces.
