Happy birthday to Rich’s manager Ryan Bedrosian, and promoter Michael Mack! They will both be celebrating their birthdays this weekend…Ryan this Friday at Rich’s, and Michael this Saturday at Spin Nightclub.

Also this Saturday…look for the return of DJ Oscar Velasquez to San Diego, where he’ll be spinning at Rich’s. As you may recall, his last visit to our fair city was during San Diego Pride, where he spun to a packed house at our Closing Party at 4th and B, along with DJ Peter Rauhofer. Welcome back Oscar!

And speaking of Oscars…on Sunday, there’s a great charity event going on in Mission Hills, the Red Carpet Relief: A Benefit for the Trevor Project. It’s a special Academy Awards viewing party presented by Del Phillips & Associates of Ascent Real Estate. Taking place at the resort home of Mark Weis in Mission Hills there’ll be food, drinks, and the Oscars on a number of screens around the property. Also, surprise amenities and activities.

Lastly, look for a newly expanded Issue 44 of Pix Magazine (now 48 pages!), due to hit the streets by the end of this week!
