The 2009 “Best of Edge” Award winners just came out! For those not familiar with them, they’re pretty much the only legitimate awards out there for the “best of” gay nightlife and parties, both nationally and internationally.

The complete lists of 2009 winners can be found here, but allow me to make a special shout out to the Perry Twins (who DJed at our inaugural Circuit Sundays night at Sidebar this past Sunday) for winning the 2009 “DJs on the Edge” Award. Congratulations guys!

And last night, as we all know, was Mardi Gras. And despite a throbbing hangover, today I’ll be sorting and editing through literally hundreds of photos from this year’s Hillcrest Mardi Gras and other festive events from last night. So, look for all those to be posted to SDPIX by next Wednesday (although, I might trickle a few of the better ones onto Facebook in the meantime). Until then!
