No Need To Worry

One of the minor but constant irritants I encounter when taking photos out at the clubs is people telling me there are afraid to have their picture taken, because they fear it will end up in a publication mocking their attire (and by extension, themselves as well).

And what I always tell these people (and what I’m telling you all here now) is that if I’m your photographer, there is absolutely no chance of that occurring. And I speak not only for myself (below, on the left), but our two other regular SD Pix photographers as well, Christian (center) and Movses (right).

If any of us pictured above is your photographer, there is NO need to worry that your photo will end up in a magazine with a tiny black bar over your eyes, making fun of you. With us, the odds of that happening are exactly zero percent. Reason being, we here at SD Pix believe that subjecting your customers to public ridicule is bad for business. Yeah I know, a radical concept, eh?

Pix 29OK, that’s dealt with, moving on! The new Pix 29 (the one with the oily Brazilian boys on the cover) will hit the streets in a couple days; for those that can’t wait the online copy is now available for viewing here. We’ve expanded to 46 pages, so check it out!

Also, 4 new albums from last week are now posted online: The first night of The Flame’s new weekly contest, San Diego Dance Off, hosted by Nicole; a couple of Thanksgiving Eve events, Tiki Turkey at Hula’s and the Butterball Party at Urban Mo’s; and lastly, the Voltage Active Duty Party at Rich’s.

Good stuff coming up this weekend: On Saturday the 6th at 8pm, the San Diego Men’s Chorus hosts it’s 24th annual holiday show at the newly restored 1930’s Balboa Theatre downtown, featuring American Idol sensation Paris Bennett. And later that same night, get ready to “Strip” at Numbers, with free drink and drink specials all night long to boys in their underwear. And of course, on Monday the 8th Martinis Above Fourth will be having their 5th Annual Wreath Auction.
