Equality California (EQCA) is one of the organizations that has been on the frontlines fighting for LGBT equality since 1998. In its’ 11-year history, the organization has successfuly passed more than 60 pieces of civil rights legislation for the LGBT community, which is more than any other statewide LGBT organization in the nation.

Every year, the organization holds the EQUALITY AWARDS, and this year’s San Diego event is going to be another exciting one. The event will be held on Saturday, November 14 at 6 p.m. in The Museum of Man, and will include a silent auction, reception and awards program. Honorees include Attorney General Jerry Brown; Stuart Milk; and Diane Schroer. These events are always a lot of fun, and usually include wine, mingling, and networking, and supports a great cause!
